John E. Codrea

Mr. Codrea is an attorney in the Cleveland office where he handles foreclosure cases. He is a graduate of Hiram College and Case Western Reserve University where he served as Editor in Chief of the Case Western Reserve Journal of International Law. Mr. Codrea's legal career has included service as a law clerk to the Honorable Edward J. Mahoney of the Ohio Ninth District Court of Appeals; Assistant Law Director and Prosecutor for the City of Cuyahoga Falls; private practice concentrating on the representation of commercial and retail creditors, and small businesses; and as managing attorney of the housing team, low income taxpayer clinic, and foreclosure team for Community Legal Aid Services in Akron. He is active in his community and is a member of the Ohio, Akron, and Portage County Bar Associations. John is also a retired Colonel in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, having served in numerous command and staff assignments of increasing responsibility both on active duty and in the reserve forces.
