Victoria M.K. Holmes
Ms. Kadreva Holmes practices in the area of foreclosure and related litigation in
Kentucky. Before joining MDK, Ms. Kadreva Holmes gained experience as a litigator
at the Charleston, WV, office of Spilman Thomas & Battle, PLLC, (where she was also
a summer law clerk) representing clients, including providers of financial services,
in all stages of litigation and arbitration in disputes involving federal and state
consumer protection laws, compliance issues, government investigations, litigation
under Articles 2, 2A, 3, 4 and 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code, and general contractual
disputes.
Ms. Kadreva Holmes is a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Law, where
she was a summer intern at the Fayette Commonwealth's Attorney's Office, a member
of the National Moot Court Team, and a recipient of the Luke Woodward Award for
Excellence in Appellate Advocacy and the Faculty Cup for Outstanding Contributions
to the College of Law. Originally from Bulgaria, she speaks Bulgarian and Russian
fluently, and has working knowledge of German, French, and Italian.
Ms. Kadreva Holmes is licensed to practice in the federal and state courts of Kentucky
and West Virginia.
